Film & TV

syn tvIn light of my group’s advice I have decided to include more interactive features in my story. I intend to include links to the SYN website and Chanel 31 website so the audience can gain further information on my topic. To liven it up and make it more appealing to the audience I also will include an audio interview and some photos of students working for SYN. I will also include links to Youtube footage or footage directly from the website of some of the segments run by SYN TV so the audience can see what sort of programs are created, directed and broadcast by students.  I also now intend to balance the story with some reasons directly from Digital Television Australia as to why it is a benefit to switch to digital and I will also seek to understand and deliver the governments reasons as to why they are not funding channel 31’s shift to the digital spectrum.  I also agree that my story needs to appeal more to our target audience so I intend to speak to students currently working on SYN TV and find out what it would mean to them if the station was to collapse or suffer from the digital shift. Due to the fact that the story is for students and youths I will include links to how to become involved in SYN TV and perhaps some alternative options of how to break into the television industry while being careful not to make my blog look like a SYN media release.
